It’s hard to believe that just a few weeks ago we were enjoying sunny, 60 degree days. Now we are facing the potential of our first snowfall – and it’s not just flurries in the forecast. Some of the latest predictions are calling for a potential of 3-5″ of snow to fall around the Corridor on Friday. Whether it all sticks is still up in the air (get it?), but it’s still a great reminder to brush up on some key winter weather driving tips:
- Reduce your speed
- Plan ahead for lane changes
- Leave extra space between the car ahead of you
- Brake early when approaching intersections
- Allow extra time to get to your destination
With any inclement weather, accidents are more likely to occur, but planning ahead and taking your time on the roads can help reduce your risk of being in an accident. Drive safe!
